Our History
1965
Founded in Nicolet, Nicobois first specializes in the manufacturing of wooden door handles, sanded by hand. They quickly add the manufacturing of chairs and seats to their repertoire.
1991
Nicobois acquires its first successor.
1995
Nicobois invests in modern, highly effective equipment which allows them to optimize the process of manufacturing chairs, seats and adding to its products, the design of solid wood tables.
2002
In response to a very high market demand, Nicobois creates a subsidiary company called Les Fabrications Sedia, dedicated to the manufacturing of complete chairs.
2012
A third associate, having complementary skills, joins the Nicobois Group.
2019
In order to support the growing demands of the business, Nicobois and Les Fabrications Sedia merge and move to a new facility.
2020
The heads of the company continue to invest in new technologies in order to boost the efficiency of the business while reducing the cost of production, allowing Nicobois to remain a distinguished North-American leader in the manufacturing of chairs, seats, tables and wood components.
Over the years, the company continued to develop new skills and areas of expertise, all thanks to the vision and dedication of its leaders.
